Bridge Toll Increase Effective July 1st

WSA would like to remind drivers of big-rig trucks and other vehicles or combinations (including
pickup/boat trailer, auto/trailer and RV/auto) with more than two axles that the toll increase approved in
2010 on Bay Area bridges will begin on July 1, 2011.

From July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, the toll rates for multi-axle vehicles on the region's seven state-
owned bridges (Antioch, Benicia-Martinez, Carquinez, Dumbarton, Richmond-San Rafael, San Francisco-Oakland Bay and San Mateo-Hayward) will be:

Axles
Cash or FasTrak

3
$10.50

4
$14.00

5
$18.00

6
$21.00

7+
$24.25

On the Golden Gate Bridge, the toll rates for multi-axle vehicles will be:

Axles
Cash
FasTrak

3
$13.00
$11.25

4
$18.00
$15.00

5
$22.00
$18.75

6
$27.00
$22.50

7+
$31.00
$26.25

Beginning July 1, 2012, the multi-axle vehicle toll increase approved for all Bay Area toll bridges in 2010
will be fully implemented: $5 times the number of axles for state-owned bridges, and $5-FasTrak and $6-cash times the number of axles for the Golden Gate Bridge. State law requires tolls on state-owned
bridges to be based on the total number of axles.

Effective July 1, 2012:

3 axles regular toll of $5.00 times 3 axles: $15.00

4 axles regular toll of $5.00 times 4 axles: $20.00

5 axles regular toll of $5.00 times 5 axles: $25.00

6 axles regular toll of $5.00 times 6 axles: $30.00

7 axles or more regular toll of $5.00 times 7 axles: $35.00
