One of our teams called me this morning. They were at the Pilot in Lost Hills, CA at midnight last night and the DOT and CHP officers that were in there having breakfast told the truckers that starting at midnight (DEC 1st) they were going to be pulling drivers over, checking logs and if they found any problems at all, it would lead to full inspections. The cops said they were just told to do this during their daily briefing at the beginning of their shift.
Heads up to all drivers in the golden state in December. Keep your logs up to date and avoid an inspection.
